Proud to be in The Cradle of Liberty.

Living in Bensalem puts us close to Philadelphia widely known as The Cradle of Liberty. The Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States were drafted, then they were debated, revisions were made, and the documents were finally signed. That was in a brief period of just 11 years historic years!

Philadelphia is a special cradle of liberty.  It was the place where the Continental Congress as well as the Constitutional Convention did their ground-breaking work. Even a century earlier, it was the city conceived by the visionary William Penn as a place where people of all classes, cultures, and ancestral backgrounds would be able to live together.

I am proud to be a plumber in Bensalem, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties as well as the greater Philadelphia area. This time of year (especially in this challenging year of 2020) we reflect on the future and believe that 2021 will be much better. My name is Joe Canty and I will be there for all your plumbing needs. Happy New Year and Holiday Season from All Drains Plumbing.

Integrity…A Word that Means More with Each Passing Year.

Let us explore the definition as the dictionary defines it - Integrity: The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; It applies to every aspect of life…especially those whom we deal with in the service industry.

This goes for mechanics, home improvement specialists, doctors, and plumbers.

What are some of the attributes of that word?

1.  Graciousness

2.  Being respectful

3.  Trustworthiness

5.  Responsibility

Should I Repair or Replace My Water Heater?

If you live in your Southeastern PA home long enough you will face this eventual question. Some water heaters may be repaired while many need to be replaced altogether. You probably want to weigh your options and decide if you should repair or replace. I will help you make an informed decision without trying to sell you something that you do not need.

You would be well advised to replace if you notice some of the following –

1.  If your reliable water heater is more than a decade old.

2.  You have had it repaired several times before.

3.  There is a leak around the tank.

4.  Rust colored water has become more and more frequent.

Free-Flowing Pipes are Essential in your Home.

Just as I hopefully have become an essential part of your life as a homeowner in the Bucks County area, so are clean, intact pipes. The usual solution is to have just the faulty pipes replaced. However, there are some cases where you will need to have all the pipes replaced…in other words whole-house repiping.

Here is something to wrap your head around - with whole-house repiping, you receive an entirely new plumbing system. This is one of my larger jobs, but one that should last you a lifetime once it is completed. Considering the permanency of the results, and the peace of mind derived, the work itself will seem minor!

I am honored that you have counted on me to keep your home or office’s plumbing free-flowing for many years. Maybe it is time to consider whole house repiping. I am Joe Canty, the owner of All Drains Plumbing serving Southeastern PA. Visit my website at alldrainsbensalem.com and call the number that corresponds to where you live. Make sure to ask about our Heroes Discount!

So are the Wet Days of Our Lives.

This is not a soap opera. The plain truth is the area around southeastern PA is just coming out of its wettest season. That probably means that your Bucks county home’s sump pump has had a workout this summer. Have you heard anything coming from that reliable appliance lately? Has it been crying out for help in recent times?

Please look and listen for these signs –

  1. Strange noises are emanating from it
  2. Excessive vibration whenever it runs
  3. It runs constantly
  4. It runs for long periods of time when it does kick in
  5. You see visible signs of rust

Let’s face it, if you have not had your sump pump inspected for years and you notice any of these signs it may well be time to replace that necessary sump pump. If you live in or around Montgomery, Philadelphia, or Bensalem make the call. Joe Canty is your plumber serving the area for sump pump repair or replacement. Give Joe a jingle…go to alldrainsplumbing.com and call the phone number in your area and ask about the Hero’s discount.

Is it Getting Lower and Lower and Lower?

Your Bensalem area home’s water pressure we mean.  It is a legitimate concern when you notice low water pressure in your home or office.  Low water pressure can be caused by many things.  The first things I look for are simple problems like the shut-off valve being closed or a faucet being blocked which can cause low water pressure.

Here are some troubleshooting tips –

1.  Determine if various locations in your home or office have low water pressure.
2.  If it’s confined to a single location…check the faucet for debris.
3.  Check the source such as the shut off valves.
4.  Check your water heater if only the hot water is low.

These are troubleshooting methods you can try…or to make sure that it is done right the first time, please call me for diagnosis and possible repair.  I am known around Bensalem, Bucks County in general, as well as Montgomery and even some of Philadelphia as the drain expert.  My name is Joe Canty…the owner of All Drains Plumbing.  Go to alldrainsplumbing.com and call me at the phone number listed in your area.  Please ask about our hero’s discount!

You Never Know When You are Going to Need it.

It is true about so many things.  Your home’s sump pump is certainly no exception to that rule.  Water damage is one of the worst problems the average Bucks County homeowner will have to deal with.  Irreplaceable possessions can be completely destroyed, cleanup is difficult and expensive, and the musty smell can linger for weeks!

If you’re a new homeowner in Southeastern PA who is just learning the ropes of home maintenance, you might not know if your home even has a sump pump or where it’s located.  It’s important to get to know this device and how to take care of it throughout the year because it’s your most important defense against basement flooding.

Let me help.  I am Bensalem plumber Joe Canty, owner of All Drains Plumbing.  For over two decades I have been helping area homeowners avoid disastrous plumbing emergencies by checking on that all-important sump pump.  Why not give me a call for a sump pump inspection at one of the phone numbers listed on my website alldrainsbensalem.com?
