The Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States were drafted, then they were debated, revisions were made, and the documents were finally signed. That was in a brief period of just 11 years historic years!

Philadelphia is a special cradle of liberty.  It was the place where the Continental Congress as well as the Constitutional Convention did their ground-breaking work. Even a century earlier, it was the city conceived by the visionary William Penn as a place where people of all classes, cultures, and ancestral backgrounds would be able to live together.
