buy yourself some time. Major root problems may need to be addressed
again later. In the meantime, we can usually get your drain flowing and
your home back to normal. Give us a call today at (484) 591-1862 or (267) 332-2019 We are here to help!

Top Holiday Events & Attractions in Philadelphia’s Countryside
(Click the link above for more information)
The holiday season brings out the best in Philadelphia’s Countryside
with long-standing traditions, annual celebrations and wildly impressive
colorful light displays.
The Founding of Bensalem Township.
Perhaps other parts of the U.S. know about neighboring
Philadelphia and little else. Those
around Bensalem, PA know that their tradition goes back to the 17th century
before there was a United States of America.
Our township seal states that the town was established in 1692, but as
far back as 1670, the land was surveyed for residency on orders of the
governor.
Joseph Growden was one of the original landowners and his
legacy lives on even to this day. Soon
after he arrived, he built himself a beautiful residence on the northern part
of his manor in Bensalem. Just a bit
later, more English colonists would immigrate into the township and influence
it.
Yes, Bensalem, Pennsylvania is rich in history. Today, when people need plumbing work done
here or anywhere around Bucks and Montgomery counties they call Joe Canty. Joe is the owner of All Drains Plumbing. From all of the Canty family to all of you in
our beautiful, historic area Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.

Is it Time to Replace your Bathroom Toilet?
Yes, it wears out just like anything else in your home. Many of us limp along with a leaky or less
than efficient toilet in our bathroom because we don’t spend a lot of time in
there during the course of the day. This
time of year, you may have visitors who will be using that toilet during the
holidays. The problem will only get
worse!
Here are some of the things that will be necessary in
replacing that old bowl –
1. Measure carefully
from the back wall to the bolts that secure the bowl to the floor.
2. Turn off the water
supply and flush all of the water from the tank.
3. Once you know that
the flange is in good shape, you can install the new toilet.
4. Check to see that
the new toilet is NOT wobbling.
Does any of this sound like a DIY project? For most of us, probably not! If you live in Bucks County around the
Bensalem area you need the expertise of a plumber you can trust. That means the 20+ years of toilet replacement
experience that you find from Joe Canty representing All Drains Plumbing. Before the holiday rush give Joe a call at
(484) 591-1862.

The Wrong Man for the Job.
Have you ever hired someone to do a job and it turned out to
be a bad decision? It has happened to
just about all of us. I have been in
this industry for a long time, so I’ve seen what can happen when you have the
wrong (person) or team for the job. Plumbing
is a tough job, and even something seemingly simple, like unclogging a drain,
can require a pro.
A Contractor License is actually required for most plumbing
jobs within the state of Pennsylvania.
In other words, only licensed plumbers should advertise work within the
trade, though it’s easy to believe that a handyman is just as qualified. The
licensing process requires experience, ongoing training, and examination, so
you know a licensed contractor is truly cut out for the job!
I am proud to be licensed and insured. Of course, that handyman down the street may
charge a little less. I have 22 years of
experience…not some “friend of a friend”.
My name is Joe Canty. I am a
licensed plumber serving the greater Bensalem, PA area. For all of your plumbing needs remember me by
calling (484) 591-1862.

Dogs, Cats, and Water Heaters.
What do they all have in common? Well, as much as we would like to live in
denial, when the three particular things listed above turn 10-12 years of age
they are elderly. We will want to hold
onto the first two as long as we can, of course. In the case of your home’s water heater you
need to exercise common sense and replace it.
Maybe your current water heater is –
1. Making hissing or
sizzling noises
2. Leaking at the
pressure relief valve
3. The pipes are
noticeably leaking water
When your water heater is about to “give up the ghost” call
registered plumber Joe at All Drains Plumbing.
For over two decades, Joe Canty has served the plumbing repair and
replacement needs of the residents of Bensalem and surrounding areas of
Southeastern Pennsylvania. Don’t fall
for handyman scams! Give Joe a call
today at (484) 591-1862.

Why are You So Cranky Today?
If the answer is “I couldn’t shower because I need a new one”, then
don’t hesitate another day to call in a professional bathroom shower
installer. Not only that, but there are
homes today that don't have showers.
Maybe the previous owner had a period tub in the bathroom that made a
decorating statement, or the owner might just have not wanted a shower in the
bathroom.
In today’s society a shower is the main choice of bathing,
because it takes less time, and uses less water. Not only is it quicker, but friendlier to the
environment as well. Whatever the case,
if you buy a home without a shower, or you are just planning on putting a shower
stall in a second bathroom, the process is probably not a DIY project.

What’s That Sound Out Front?
If you hear a strange sound outside of your Bensalem home
you check for intruders first, but if they are coming from some device don’t
worry, your place is not haunted. It is
probably your sump pump going bad. If
the noise is excessive it could be a failed bearing. If it is rattling or grinding it could be a
jammed impeller.
Besides the noises, your sump pump could be…
1. Excessive
vibrating
2. It is suffering
from limited usage
3. It runs constantly
because of a switch problem
4. It runs
continuously
5. Rust is visible on
the outside
Whatever the reason may be, your sump pump is essential to
keeping your home high and dry. The

All Drains Plumbing helps YOU save money!

owned with 20 years’ experience. We offer fast service and low rates in
Bensalem, Bucks and Montgomery County. Call today for drain cleaning, water
lines, water heaters and all of your plumbing needs.
As a family man with 4 children, I understand the need to
save money. I can relate to the
financial struggles of customers and I am willing to help. Less overhead for us means lower prices for
you.
A clogged drain or plumbing problem can bring the family
routine to an abrupt halt. You need that fixed quickly and at a fair
price. Give me a call, I’m here to
help. We have 20 years’ experience and
offer same day and emergency services.
Depending on the drain line that is blocked depends on the
access available to clear it, shorelines can be cleared by removing the toilet
and running a snake through that part of the line. Sewer lines can also be cleared from an
outside clean-out or from the roof vent.
Kitchen sink lines can be cleared by removing the trap from under the
sink and running a snake in that way
We also offer video inspection. In order to video inspect a sewer line I
would access from an outside clean-out.
For a clean out at the bottom of the stack in the home I can remove the
toilet and possibly camera from that location.
Prices will vary depending on the available access.
Give us a call for a free estimate and fast, friendly
professional service. Visit our website
http://www.alldrainsbensalem.com
for more information on the services we provide.
